It seems the graphic designers that were in charge of the box art for the recent release of “Okami” on the Wii platform were either extremely amateur or just plain lazy. It was recently discovered that on the front cover of “Okami” somebody forgot to remove an IGN watermark from the background image. Now I don’t know if Capcom is using student interns to do their design or if the designer is unaware of the clone tool but this is a huge screw up for a title that was probably published by the millions. Below you will see the box art followed by the original image used (complete with IGN watermark). The water mark appear adjacent to the mouth of the puppy. My guess is there will be a graphic designer looking for a new job soon. Click the images for the larger version.
