A geek’s paradise

Posted by Daniel Nasserian On May - 31 - 2008

After seeing the episodes of “Home Improvement” in which Tim made the man’s bathroom and man’s kitchen, I had to share this post from freshome.com.

What you are going to see in this post is a realistic toilet that was featured under “Cool Inventions” in National Geographic Kids Magazine under the title ‘Souped Up John.’ An ultra pimped out toilet, that is the ultimate in geek bathroom luxury. It features a TV, TiVo, DVD, XBox, laptop, refrigerator, megaphone, Ipod dock and of course the standard toilet paper holder. In conclusion this toilet is equipped with everything you need, so you’ll be able to spend your whole day in your toilet. Now the ultra busy people can be happy because they won’t be missing anything. Finally to keep you even more time in this toilet you also get some exercise pedals in front for when you really need to shake those bowels loose. If you don’t consider yourself sedentary enough then this geeky toilet will help you become one.

“Lost” treasures

Posted by Daniel Nasserian On May - 30 - 2008

A lot more goes on in an episode of “Lost” than the average viewer might think. Fortunately there are people with keen eyes that are able to pick it up and bring attention to it. Whether it be backward audio or visual hints in the background, there are sites out there that will make you watch “Lost” in a whole new way.

Lost Easter Eggs is a site full of these hidden tidbits that will turn the average user into a hardcore fan of the show and will be sure to turn each episode into a game of “Where’s Waldo”.

Also, instead of posting a review on the finale of season 4 (which would just be full of spoilers), you can read the Associated Press review HERE. I highly recommend watching the finale before reading any review.

Regarding Ledger:

He was incredibly intense in his performance but incredibly mellow and laid-back. Certainly there was this great anarchistic streak to it—just getting dirtier than anybody’s envisioned the Joker before. This character has power because he has no limits—absolutely nothing to lose.

Here are some screenshots from PSU for the upcoming Tom Clancy game “H.A.W.K”. This game is said to be the first of its kind to get the casual gamer involved in a flight simulator. As a fan of Tom Clancy games and the “Ace Combat” games, I know I’ll be getting it.

New TV spot for “The Incredible Hulk”

This movie is really starting to look good. I have faith in Edward Norton and hope he can help us erase the last “Hulk” movie from out memory.

“Spiderman” to cast a new Peter Parker?

Posted by Daniel Nasserian On May - 27 - 2008

Some of you may have picked up a hint of animosity in regards to how I discuss the Marvel movie universe and this latest rumor is a prime example of what pisses me off. According to Latino Review, not only is “Spiderman” 4 and 5 going into production but they are looking for actors to take over the role of Peter Parker.

Sometimes these studios need to take the time to pull their heads out of their asses and stop producing sequels until they have completely destroyed a franchise. When the lead actor in a movie wants to disassociate himself with a movie project then chances are it’s not a good idea to steer the ship off course. “Fantastic 4″ went from shit to shittier and the addition of an emo dancing Peter Parker in “Spiderman 3″ was enough to make me want to poke my eyes out with a salad fork. “Iron Man” scheduled a sequel before the first film was released and as much as I enjoyed that movie, I look to the future and am already seeing the over capitalization of the franchise as it is but a crossover which will include a “Thor” movie. It’s too much.
