Coming to you in Blu-Ray Hi-Def…

Posted by Eugene Wong On August - 4 - 2008

Ang Lee’s “Hulk”!  Who’s camping out for this one?  Come on, show of hands:)

Release Date: September 16, 2008.  This is worse than waiting for TDK!  Ahh!

Extras:

Commentary with Director Ang Lee…I wonder if this’ll be like Schumacher’s commentary off “Batman & Robin”.  “For the record, I have to apologize for the Bat-Nipples.  My intention was to bring a certain flair and sex appeal to the Batman character…like Roman soldiers back in the day.”

Deleted Scenes…unfortunately not Deleted Movie.

Featurettes: Evolution of the Hulk (…they must’ve meant Devolution), The Incredible Ang Lee (?), The Dog Fight Scene (somebody call PETA), The Making of Hulk (exclusive 5-minute spy footage of a bathroom stall), The Unique Style of Editing Hulk (alright, I’ll give that to them)

2 U-Control features (Tutorial Static Images; Picture in Picture, My Scenes).

Suggested Retail Price: $29.95.  Score!

  1. HD DVD and Blu-ray offer true high-resolution video and greater interactivity than standard DVDs, but the new formats are incompatible with one another.

  2. Eugene Wong says:

I agree…? Ah, I think I know what you’re getting at. Blu-ray and HD are both actually categorized as hi-def, although they’re obviously different formats. I’ve always thought the name HD (in hi-def) was kind of redundant lol.
