Though it is nothing but a rumor at this point, the recent word from Yahoo! Buzz is that we might see The Riddler played by Johnny Depp, Catwoman played by Angelina Jolie and even The Penguin played by Philip Seymour Hoffman in the followup film to “The Dark Knight”. After Ledger’s performance as The Joker, one must question whether a 3rd installment can actually surpass “The Dark Knight”. Another question that comes up with this rumor is one that asks how can characters like The Penguin work in Nolan’s universe?
