As a die hard Star Wars fan, I have to admit, I am not exactly hyped about seeing Clone Wars, but Ill go see it because it's Star Wars. I'm with you, Lucas is going a bit far with trying to do everything he can to Star Wars but let it rest. Those movies...at least the original trilogy...are classics. They'll stand the test of time in the same way Gone With the Wind, Citizen Kane, and other classics have. There is no need for him to keep fooling around with them.

As far a Indy goes. I didn't hate the new one, but it didn't feel like an Indiana Jones movie. I'm not sure what it ws about it, something just wasn't right. Maybe you're right, Speilberg needs to take it over if they insist on keeping it going, but as with Star Wars, Indy is a classic and his legacy is already cemented i nthe anuls of cinema history. All these unecessary sequels are doing is chippiung away at that and shortening Harriosn Ford's lifespan.

Nice blog. Look forward to future posts!
