Desperate casting?

Posted by Daniel Nasserian On September - 16 - 2008

According to a recent article on The L.A. Times website, Eva Longoria was seen leaving the Marvel offices clutching an “Avengers” comic book. This led the author to believe that she may have a role in the movie and then took a shot in the dark as to who Eva could play. His response? Wasp.

According to the author of the article:

The first thing that popped in my head when I heard this: She’s going to be Thor!

No, no, just joking. The first thought is that she wants to be Janet Van Dyne, the winsome Wasp, a founding member of the Marvel super team and eventual wife of Hank Pym, the Ant-Man.

Personally, I feel casting in a superhero flick can make or break the film. That last thing a Marvel movie needs is a desperate houswife but then again I was doubting Heath Ledger as The Joker when that was first announced so until then only time will tell…assuming there is traction to this theory.

More LEGO Batman assets released: Hush

Posted by Daniel Nasserian On September - 16 - 2008

As promised here is day 2 of our LEGO Batman assets. I was going to post some other ones today but these just arrived in my inbox. Here is the HUSH set of images from the upcoming game, LEGO Batman.

Hush was a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne, who became a master surgeon and donned the villainous identity of Hush. Like Batman, he has no superpowers, but advanced physical and mental training has brought him to the peak of human ability. His complicated plans of revenge against Batman are always calculated with surgical precision to hit the Caped Crusader at his most vulnerable spots.
