According to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, Sam Rockwell and Mickey Rourke will be playing the next 2 villains in the Jon Favreau-directed sequel.
Rourke will play the Crimson Dynamo, a tattooed Russian heavyweight who develops a nuclear-powered suit of armor, while Rockwell will play Justin Hammer, a multibillionaire businessman and rival to Tony Stark.
Production is scheduled to begin at Manhattan Beach this spring, aiming for a May 7, 2010 release date.
