Variety is reporting that Emily Blunt is currently a serious contender for the role of Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow, a Soviet spy dressed in a skin-tight black leather suit, skilled in sniping and martial arts. Blunt’s earlier credits include “The Devil Wears Prada”, “Charlie Wilson’s War”, and the upcoming “Wolfman” movie.
Production for “Iron Man 2″ begins this spring with a projected release date for May 7, 2010.
