Rumors were circulating around the net concerning a possible delay on the highly-anticipated Playstation 3 title, “Batman: Arkham Asylum”. The game was initially slated for a June 23rd, 2009 release date, but unfortunately, that will no longer be the case. A spokesperson for Eidos recently had this to say:
“Eidos Interactive and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment can today confirm that Batman: Arkham Asylum will be released at the end of summer 2009. This additional time will allow us to ensure Batman: Arkham Asylum is of the highest quality for gamers.”
Expect the game to hit shelves no later than the end of September, which is when the summer officially ends. Let’s hope the extended wait is worth it.
