Though there were rumors and doubts that the quasi-popular NBC show “Chuck” would return for another season, recent reports say that the network gave it the green light…under certain conditions.
The show will be returning next season with only 13 episodes and other budget cuts will have to be made as well. These changes include a smaller cast (who will get killed off?), and the cut of 2 staff writers.
Personally, I started to get into “Chuck” last season as the story took some twists and turns and started to unravel and also managed to shake the redundant algorithm of Chuck flashes, Chuck acts inept, Chuck ends up saving the day. Hopefully they can develop the story a bit more next season and prevent from getting canned. Though, at this point, it might be a bit tough to do.
