Touchstone Pictures has released the first trailer for the upcoming sci-fi comic book adaptation, “Surrogates”.
Directed by Jonathan Mostow, the film stars Bruce Willis and Radha Mitchell as two FBI agents who investigate the mysterious murder of a college student linked to a man who helped in the creation of a high-tech surrogate program. This program allows people to purchase flawless robotic models of themselves, assuming their life roles, while they experience life vicariously in the safety of their own homes. The investigation leads to a quest for answers as it becomes a question of who’s real and who’s trustworthy?
“Surrogates” hits theaters on September 25th, 2009.
