In the past week or so we’ve been following a teaser website from Kojima Productions which hints at the next installment in the Metal Gear Solid series with a countdown. As the first countdown ended up leading to a second one with additional characters flashing on the page, a third countdown has once again shown up, adding an additional 117 hours to the wait as well as the following letters: P, 3, S, R, e and E. However, this time around we finally received visual confirmation on what appears to be, indeed, the next Metal Gear game. After waiting a few minutes on the site, the image of a familiar, slightly older face showed up…Big Boss!
Could we once again be playing as the legendary Big Boss in this next installment? It sure looks like it. The countdown ends at 3 p.m. PST on Sunday, May 31st. Stay tuned for more updates!
