With a sequel to the disastrous yet lucrative “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” as well as confirmed “Deadpool” and “Magneto” spin-offs in the works, we now wonder which project will get the greenlight first.
In a recent interview, David Goyer, who has been hired to pen the “Magneto” screenplay, stated the following:
“There have been some preliminary discussions [on Magneto]. I think, at Fox, they’re trying to decide if making a young X-Men film makes the most sense next or does making a ‘Magneto’ make the most sense next. They’re just trying to decide internally who’s next up.”
X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2, Deadpool, Magneto, or X-Men: First Class? Which one’s going to get the greenlight first? I think the bigger question is, what’s going on with the Gambit spin-off???
