Well here we are again. Another attempt at ruing everything that was holy in my childhood. Here are some concept art images of “Thundercats”.

Here is an all new trailer from Peter Jackson’s upcoming film “District 9″. The more I see of this movie, the more excited I become. What are your thoughts?
Unfortunately, after 3 hours of being barbecued underneath the blistering sun, AW did not make it into Paramount’s “Iron Man 2″ panel, but hey, thank goodness for YouTube! Here’s the entire panel minus the footage:
Now how about some unauthorized pictures of the footage that was shown? Sweet. Check out War Machine in the 4th and 5th pictures.
Still need a better idea of how the footage played out? Here’s the Sweded version:
I suppose people do have a hard time concealing their cameras from security, but some of the videos I’ve found of the preview footage that was shown are just ridiculous. Here’s the best one I could find. Enjoy.
Once again hosted by former scribe Jeph Loeb, this year’s “Smallville” panel featured the entire cast which included Justin Hartley, Erica Durance, Allison Mack, Cassidy Freeman, Callum Blue (Zod), Tom Welling (first Comic-Con appearance), and writers/producers Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson.
Before the panel began, a lengthy preview of Season 9 was shown – around 3/4 of which was footage from previous seasons. As for the last quarter of footage, it was certainly awesome indeed and featured Clark wearing, not a red and blue, but a black suit which sported a glowing blue “S” on his chest. Clark also dons a black trench coat and resembles Neo from “The Matrix”. There were shots as well of a shirtless Oliver Queen in what appears to be a deadly underground street fight. A menacing Brian Austin Green, who plays Metallo, was also shown with a kryptonite chamber glowing across his chest, metal rods punctured into his skin.
A long Q&A followed with lots of questions being answered, so we’ll get straight to the point:
And that just about sums up the panel. This certainly looks to be an amazing season and from the footage shown, it seems the writers have a ton of developments in store for each of the characters. I wouldn’t be surprised if this will be the darkest season yet.
Season 9 of “Smallville” premieres Friday, September 25th, 2009.
Other than a few jokes here and there, we covered everything that was relevant in the panel. If you’d like to watch the whole thing anyways, here you go.
Producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse returned to Comic-Con this year for the final season of “Lost” and it was certainly a memorable panel this time around. The panel started off with the showing of a commercial for a website called LostUniversity.org (which you can actually check out online right now) and followed with an ad for a 1980s TV show called Mysteries of the Universe: The Dharma Initiative.
Being the last Comic-Con appearance for the show, Lindelof and Cuse made this a fan appreciation panel by showing a compilation of fanmade videos and clips of various Lost parties held by fans. One of the more memorable videos was one between Jack and Sawyer, parodying “Brokeback Mountain”. Another one was of Jack waiting with tech support on the phone, while staring at the red ring on his X-Box.
During the Q&A, Lindelof and Cuse actually revealed quite a lot of what we can expect for next season, so we’ll run through them now – Characters we haven’t seen since the first season will make a comeback, Faraday will reappear on the show, flash back and flash forwards are done with, Richard Alpert’s backstory will finally be revealed, Juliet will be in the final season, and…SPOILER ALERT…wait for it…
CHARLIE PACE IS ALIVE. That’s right, actor Dominic Monaghan stepped onto the stage and written on his hand was the following: “I AM ALIVE”.
There were also surprise appearances by Jorge Garcia (Hurly), Michael Emerson (Ben Linus), Josh Holloway (Sawyer), and Nestor Carbonell (Richard Alpert). Lindelof and Cuse have been repeatedly asked whether the story of “Lost” had always been planned ahead of time, and to prove to the audience that it was, they both took out the last 2 screenplay pages of the final episode and locked it in a box, each of them holding a key to it. Holloway, in character, then strode onto the stage, pretended to taze them, and opened the box, to have Michael Emerson read it out loud to the audience. Strangely enough, the script concerned the names of characters we’ve never heard of: Matt Parkman and Sylar…hmm.
There was also a diehard fan who came up to unveil a velvet painting he made that showed Lindelof and Cuse with a polar bear. The fan went ahead and delivered it over to the two of them and went nuts as he returned to his seat. See the picture.
An “In Memoriam” video was finally shown at the end which remembered characters who had been killed off during the course of the show so far.
Season 6 of “Lost” premieres January 2010.
We’ve attached high-quality videos of the entire panel below, although we pretty much covered all of the important details anyways. Enjoy.
Stars Kiefer Sutherland, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica), Freddie Prinze Jr., and Anil Kapoor (Slumdog Millionaire) were joined by producers/writers Howard Gordon, Brannon Braga, David Fury, Manny Coto, Evan Katz, and Sean Callery to talk about plans for Season 8.
Exclusive footage from the first episode of the new season was screened which showed Jack, clad in a suave, dark brown leather jacket, living in an apartment building in New York. An unexpected visitor appears at the door and informs him of a plan to assassinate a foreign president at the U.N. We then cut to the entrance of a snazzy-looking building with glass doors sporting the initials “CTU” frosted onto the panes. Unlike the industrial, concrete and steel design from previous seasons, this New York office is much more refined with metallic silver staircases and desks, marble floors, and red streaks of light running along various areas. Cole Ortiz (Freddie Prinze Jr.) arrives at the office and has an affectionate exchange with his wife, Dana Walsh (Katee Sackhoff). Walsh seems to be the chief analyst as we see her instructing a frustrated Chloe on the new systems.
From the footage shown, this seems like it’s going to be a slightly different-looking season and as Kiefer Sutherland has said, will be more grounded in reality than the previous seasons. Producer Howard Gordon stated that in Season 7, Jack was brought to a place where living mattered and that they want to continue with the character arc in Season 8. He also mentioned that out of all seasons in the show, this next season will have the most direct continuation from the previous one. For once, Jack will start out happily spending time with Kim and her daughter…of course that’ll probably be until the threat is made aware.
At the end of the panel, Kiefer Sutherland finally revealed story details on the season, stating that it would involve the U.N. Peace Conference and a meeting between the U.S. and Iranian Presidents.
You know what? While we’ve summed up all the major details, why don’t we just post the entire panel up for you guys? Enjoy.
