According to Entertainment Weekly, actress Cameron Diaz is currently in early talks to play the female lead role in “The Green Hornet”, next to Seth Rogen. Wow, now I really don’t know what to think of this project. Seth Rogen and Cameron Diaz in an adaptation of the crime-fighter serial “The Green Hornet”, which originally starred legendary icon, Bruce Lee, might I add??? Maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea for Stephen Chow to sit out of this one and move on with “Kung Fu Hustle 2″ after all.
Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen are penning the screenplay for the Michel Gondry-directed film adaptation.
“The Green Hornet” is scheduled for a July 9th, 2010 release date.
