The first theatrical trailer for Peter Jackson’s novel-to-film adaptation “The Lovely Bones” has been released by Dreamworks and can be viewed either right here or on Apple’s official page here.
Based on the critically acclaimed bestselling novel of the same name by Alice Sebold, the film centers on the story of a young girl, after being murdered, who is sent to heaven where she watches over her family and killer. “The Lovely Bones” stars Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Michael Imperioli, and Saoirse Ronan.
“The Lovely Bones” hits theaters December 11th, 2009.
