DC delays Batman Incorporated issue #3 due to sensitive content

Update: See the page that sparked the postponement HERE. Do you think it was insensitive to release it on time?

Did you go to your comic book store today to pick up your pulls and notice you were one comic short?

Fans of DC’s New 52 may have realized that this month’s issue of “Batman Incorporated”, written by Grant Morrison, was not on shelves and would be put on hold due to some sensitive content that may not sit well with those affected by the Aurora, CO. shooting.

I have personally seen the pages in question and can honestly say it’s really not that bad and holds no similarities to the tragedy in Colorado. Comic book stores have been told to destroy the issues and to submit proof which seems to me like a waste of resources and finances.

As a fan, do you think we’re being too sensitive as a nation to an isolated incident or do you think we need to give it time? We would love to hear what you have to say.

The issue will be released on August 22, 2012.
