In a previous thread, we have discussed the events that happened during the midnight showing of “The Dark Knight Rises” in Aurora Colorado. Though we sympathize with the victims and their families we have also raised the question, are we being too sensitive to an isolated indecent?
We reported that DC Comics would be postponing the latest issue of “Batman Incorporated” issue #3 due to some potentially sensitive scenes and have had comic book shops destroy the copies they received. But is it really necessary?
Obviously, having the comic destroyed has created a bit of demand by comic book enthusiasts and the stores that didn’t adhere to the order to destroy the issues have allowed for copies to be distributed on eBay and digitally on the web.
Here is the first page of the comic which has been the cause of the postponement. Do you think this was enough to put a hold on the issue? Let us know.
