Hey there readers! Do you remember that big event in the 1990′s when we finally saw a DC and Marvel comic book crossover? When the Justice League and The Avengers had finally interacted with each other in the same universe? Well, it’s happening again, but this time it’s a box office rumble. Warner Bros. has recently announced their release year for the upcoming Justice League movie and it will be occurring in the summer of 2015. “2015?! Why does this year sound familiar?” You may ask. Well, it is also the same year that Marvel has announced to release the sequel to their blockbuster hit, The Avengers.
The Justice League script is in the works as we speak (err type) and will be penned by Will Beall. Is the Justice League movie in line to be the BeAll DC movie? (aha..ha..ha, see what I did there? No? Alright…). Will it BeAll it’s cracked up to be? (Still nothing? Okay…). We are expecting the original members of the Justice League to round out the team. This includes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman (Please no), with other possibilities being Martian Manhunter, Cyborg, and Zatanna (Please yes).
So 2015 will be a ginormous year for movies and comic books. A Justice League movie, the long awaited sequel to Marvel’s The Avengers, and hoverboards along with self drying jackets.
Marvel has already set their full date for The Avengers 2 for a release of May 1st, 2015. Stay tuned for more updates on these movies and more.
