This book was easily one of my favorites as a kid because of its metaphorical overtures into the discussion on the potential abolition of global environmental trends by satirizing apocalyptic conditions via surrealistic depictions of descending foodstuffs onto public landscapes, literally, and into the public conscience, figuratively. Also, it had flying pancakes. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
