“Starcraft 2″ has been delayed to…never!

Posted by Eugene Wong On August - 6 - 2009

Never, as in 2010…as in 3010, when future nerds like us are asking what the heck those rectangular-shaped thingamajiggers with screens and letter keys on them are.

Activision has announced for the umpteenth time that “Starcraft 2″ will be delayed until 2010. No additional information has been announced although the company did have a conference call today concerning the release date. Yay! Waiting is fun. Message to Activision: Please stop delaying this game or else…well, I’ll stop playing Starcraft for the first hour in my life! Take that.

SDCC ’09: “Batman: Arkham Asylum” panel

Posted by Eugene Wong On July - 29 - 2009

Voice actors Kevin Conroy (Bruce Wayne/Batman) and Mark Hamill (The Joker), award-winning writer Paul Dini, and Rocksteady Studios game developer Sefton Hill were present to discuss the highly-anticipated video game “Batman: Arkham Asylum”. Dini talked about the new, darker design for Harley Quinn and how they imagined the character to have smeared dirt across her eyes for her mask. With Croc, they didn’t want to just portray him as a man with a skin disease, but more of an actual monster. Dini then mentioned that there would be a few surprise villains which have not yet been revealed.

Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill threw quotes at one another as their characters, to much applause from the crowd. Hamill also did the his evil Joker laugh a couple of times.

As for the footage that was shown, we hear a narrative by Amadeus Arkham recounting how he started the asylum to help the insane. Someone actually recorded the whole video in its entirety on their camera so check it out below.

“Batman: Arkham Asylum” hits shelves on August 25th, 2009.
