You may have geeked out over her when she portrayed Lois Lane in the hit WB show “Smallville” but Erica Durance gives nerds a whole new reason to lock their doors after saying goodnight to their parents.

In this week’s episode of “Harry’s Law”, Durance sports the Wonder Woman outfit which was designed for the show that never made it to production.

For those of you who loved the FOX series “Arrested Development”, it wasn’t long ago when we found out that the series would be returning for a 4th season. It was also being decided which network would be airing the series once it returned. Well the news is out that the Bluth family has found a home and it’s going to cost you $7.99 a month to stream through the Netflix service. Netflix may have been able to save “Arrested Development” but the questions is, can “Arrested Development” save Netflix?

As of today, the Netflix stock closed at $70.45 after reaching over $300.00 a share earlier this year. Netflix has been a sinking stone since CEO Reed Hastings decided to raise subscription fees 60%, split the service into two different companies only to retract the decision and now we are finding out that they are selling stocks and raising funds to meet a $400 million goal in order to operate in the UK next year.

Admittedly, Netflix has told its shareholders that the company won’t be posting a profit in all of 2012 and that the cost of licensing fees and operating in the UK has been a bit of a financial challenge. Since the company has lost nearly a million subscribers and those who are staying will most likely down grade their memberships, customers and shareholders alike are trying to find out how Netflix will stay afloat.

“Arrested Development” is the first show that will be exclusive to the Netflix service. With all of the negative aura surrounding the company, many are wondering if Netflix can survive long enough to see “Arrested Development” when it is set to air in 2013. Will fans of the show subscribe to Netflix just to see the Bluths back in action or will this prove to be another flop on the part of the battered company? Only time will tell.

Dating’s never easy, but try dating in a Darth Vader mask or Wonder Woman ensemble. Two half hour specials have been ordered and will air back to back on December 18^th at 9PM (ET/PT).

Glitch sets up speed dating at events like Comic-Con, bringing like-minded people together to embrace their quirkiness and find love. When comic and sci-fi fans can’t find someone to share their passion, they turn to Glitch.  Viewers will get an insider’s look at the stories behind the daters and witness their journey throughout the speed dating session at New York’s Comic-Con.

Mark Hammil, who is known to everybody as the beloved Luke Skywalker from the (real) “Star Wars” trilogy and The Joker from the hit 1992 “Batman: The Animated Series”, has just announced that he will be retiring as the voice of The Joker following the release of the hit game, “Batman: Arkham City”.

Hammil has solidified his decision in a Tweet this week stating:

Hello/Goodbye Joker! I’ve enjoyed every minute behind the wheel of the [Clown] Prince’s crazy car – I’m going to miss him more than I can say!!

We all will miss Mark’s incredible voice talent as the Clown Prince of Crime but Hammil is doing something that most actors tend not to do…go out while they are still on top. Now that “Batman: Arkham City” has topped over 4.5 million copies sold, you really can’t be any higher.

There is still a slight chance we may hear Hammil’s Joker again and according to another one of his Tweets, if DC or Warner Bros. decides to make Alan Moore’s “The Killing Joke” an animated feature, he would happily return for the project. With a classic story like “The Killing Joke”, I can’t imagine it NOT being brought back as an animated feature.

As someone who is tired of zombies, vampires and any other supernatural beings that have been raped by the media, I was hesitant to add “The Walking Dead” to my list of must-watch shows last season. I went in with low expectations and ended up being blown away by the fact that the zombies were less of a subject and more of a reason.

I found myself thrust into the character drama that was encompassed by a world torn apart by the undead. I cared about the characters, I felt the tension of the drama and all I could think about after episode 6 was what was going next. We find ourselves 2 episodes into season 2 and looking back…nothing has happened.

2 and a half hours (minus commercials) of “The Walking Dead” season 2 have aired so far and maybe 30 minutes of actual story has been told. The chemistry between the characters seems lost, the tension of the drama has disappeared and the suspense of survival is almost nonexistent. The pace of the show has slowed tremendously and even for a character drama…it’s boring.

With series like “Breaking Bad” leading the way for shows that don’t need explosions to still be exciting, “The Walking Dead” has taken everything that made season 1 so good and turned it into a search for a little girl and a bunch useless dialogue. It is simply not interesting.

It’s still too early to tell where this season will end up so I won’t cast it aside completely but for now, the strength of the series is in the comic books.

Jackson introduces your favorite household wizard, Daniel Radcliffe; and the current Dr. Who, Matt Smith. These are just a few of the actors and celebrities you will see at the 2011 Spike Scream Awards on Tuesday. Others include: J.J. Abrams, Darren Aronofsky, Sean Bean, Kate Beckinsale, John Cho, Bradley Cooper, Colin Farrell, Amber Bear, Workaholics Anders Holm and Blake Anderson, Bryce Johnson, Caity Lotz, Joe Manganiello, Dylan Mcdermott, Chloe Grace Moretz (Hit Girl herself), Kal Penn, Ron Perlman, Zoe Saldana, the king of horror himself Quentin Tarantino along with Eli Roth, Anna Torv, Mark Wahlberg, Paul Wesley, Rainn Wilson, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

Another unexpected trio of surprise guests included Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, fresh from shooting “The Dark Knight Rises”, to accept the “Most Anticipated Award”, beating out movies such as The Avengers and The Hunger Games, among others.

Ever wonder what it would be like to see Darth Vader accept an award for “Ultimate Villain”, only to find that his secret agenda would be to slam the new additions to the Blu-Ray releases of the Star Wars movies and be confronted by a comical George Lucas himself? Me too. Who better to stick it to the man than the Dark Lord himself?

The Maverick award was given to, who else, but Nicholas Cage himself. Upon receiving this award, viewers will be treated to a never before seen part from the upcoming “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance”. Other never before seen trailers in the event include: “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows”, “Piranha 3dd”, “The Woman in Black”, “Red Tails”, and “Paranormal Activity 3″.

The finale to such an epic award show included a tribute to the ever-popular and ever-hilarious Pee-Wee Herman, where he emerged on stage via his classic red bicycle that we love so much. Pee-Wee accepted the final award for the much deserved “Visionary Award”.
