As Angry Web continues to grow increasingly popular by the day, we are constantly looking to expand our workforce with new hires. Being a fairly young website with plenty of opportunity for further development, we are seeking committed individuals who would like to contribute and help make our site as great as it can be (…great = IGN).
We are currently offering the following positions:
Writer
Looking for insightful individuals who can write about movies, television shows, video games, music, and politics with their own comedic spin. Individuals will first offer 1 or 2 sample articles for the site which will then await approval by an Administrator – as long as your article doesn’t read like an AIM message, u should be aite, k? Writers will be expected to post up to 2-3 articles per day.
Assistant Programmer
If you know CSS or any other programming language that can be applied to Wordpress, we need your amazing genius. Assistant programmers will coordinate regularly with our Lead Programmer on a wide range of tasks. Sometimes the work may require complex coding, while other times we may just need a couple of simple tweaks to the site.
Graphics Designer
We need artistic individuals who can create graphics for the site such as article images, design logos, wallpaper backgrounds, etc. Whatever program you use is up to you – as long as your art makes the site look more aesthetically-pleasing to the everyday geek, we’re all for it.
Advertising/Creative Consultant
We’re looking for creative-minded individuals with some experience in website promotion and publicity. Individuals will coordinate with Managing Editor on ad content, discuss strategies for further site promotion, as well as offer new ideas in order to enhance the site’s appeal.
